7 reasons why you MUST have your own info product

It means that you have a massive opportunity to give people exactly what they’re looking for – information. And to earn some cash for doing it!

First, understand that this is the simplest kind of business there is. You take information and turn it into a digital product – like and ebook. And people pay you for the information inside it.. It couldn't get much simpler.
But how does it all work?
We’ve established that it’s a simple concept. However, to succeed you’ve got to provide information people want. So step one is to discover what kind of info people want. How do figure that out?
One very simple method is to do a little research. Visit answers.yahoo.com or similar sites and see what kinds of questions people are asking. You’re looking for popular questions or common themes. That people are having trouble solving. And provide the answer – in the form of an info product.
Think about this:
If you're worried about how to write and ebook. Put it this way: An ebook is nothing more than a collection of articles. Writing a whole ebook can be overwhelming. Just write some articles for your blog. And when you’ve got a few finished, expand and embellish them and combine them into a single ebook.

1. Ease
An info product business runs on auto-pilot. And your customers need very little support. So it's nearly a 100% hands-free business. It really is like and automatic money machine.
There’s no inventory. You don’t have to ship anything. It's all delivered online.
2. Repurposing
Once you have a few info products created. You can put together bigger more expensive information products. It’s nothing to combine the content from several ebooks. And you’ll be able to charge much more for this “new” product. There’s greater perceived value in a single big course. Instead of several small ebooks.
3. Resale rights
You can grant other people resell rights to your own products. Resell rights are very hot right now, because it’s much easier to get the resell right than to make your own product. And the best part is you get to charge two to three time as much for these rights.
4. Leverage
Leverage means doing something once and reaping multiple rewards. Break it apart and create a multi-part email series with it. And build your list with it. A list is it’s own reward!
5. More leverage
You can also take parts of your ebook and turn it into smaller eBooks. Then you can use the reports as the front-end of your product funnel. You can give them away or even charge a small amount for them. And it still benefits you because it in a lead-in for the main product. And if you’re really clever, you’ll let your affiliate use these reports as marketing tools. Affiliate, you say? Yes!
6. An affiliate army
This is one of the biggest reasons of all. Once you have your own product. You can get other people to promote it for you. How would you like to have an army of affiliates selling your products? Well, you *need* your own product to get affiliates.
7. JVs
I’ve saved the best for last. Joint ventures are the biggest short cut to success known to man. And this is probably the number one reason to create your own product. Because if you don’t have you own product, you’ve got nothing to JV.
